Our Story
​

We are a husband and wife team that started this journey into wedding videography in 2012 when some friends of ours were getting married and hadn't booked or budgeted for videography.  Since Doug had some great little HD camcorders that were used to capture his surfing, we offered to film their wedding as our gift to them which they were overjoyed about!  We used two cameras to capture their day and because we were also planning our own wedding that year, we knew how much all the details really mattered and we documented it all for keepsake purposes.  The following day while looking through the footage, I decided to give video editing a try and soon fell in love (or obsessed, I should say) with this aspect.  Our friends were so incredibly happy with this gift, but (and I know this may sound a bit corny...) it really became their gift to us and opened up the door to this career and passion.
As my sister was a wedding photographer (www.ginafrancescaphotography.com ...her work is awesome...), she asked a couple of her current brides to give us a chance so we could build our portfolio and with every job we did, we invested into more and more equipment until there was no turning back and we took the plunge into doing videography full time.  Each video we did led to the next and we never had to advertise as word of mouth and support was coming in quickly!
With every wedding we did, we learnt more, pushed ourselves further and the passion kept building because of the responses we kept getting from our clients!  We have captured weddings for celebrities and been hired by Hello magazine in the UK, had the opportunity to travel and meet the most amazing couples and vendors in the wedding industry!   Every wedding we capture allows us to be a part of something so incredibly special that we feel so honored to be a part of! :)
When we had children, time became an issue and I couldn't put in the late nights editing that I was once able to do and we made the decision to reduce the number of weddings we took on each year so that we could keep the high standard (and love!) of what we do.  We also included a couple amazing videographers and photographers to the team that would work alongside us and even offer some new perspectives to the footage including aerial/drone!
Working in the field of weddings and videography has been a beautiful and ever changing journey that we have been so lucky to be a part of.
